Mahalo for helping make the first ever Mental Health Awareness and Mahalo Awards Celebration a success!

National and local leaders raised their voices, helping to remove stigma and advocating awareness, while empowering mental wellness. We celebrated the Mental Health Mahalo Awards honorees as they shared their inspirational experiences. A new category, the student voice award, was created to acknowledge youth who ‘raised their voices’. MHAH, along with its friends at PBS Hawaiʻi, honored five HIKI NŌ students for the courage to raise their voices, chronicle personal challenges and triumphs, and to share their story whole heartedly.
