July welcomes in a month of focus on Healthy Relationships. We are joined by Dr. Kainoa Kaneakua and our Program Director, Dr. Mestisa C. Gass, for a conversation about communication skills and conflict management. Each week will bring a new skill and a discussion on how best to use it in your relationship. At the end of this series, we will be offering a live webinar reviewing all the skills and giving you the opportunity to ask questions to our presenters.

Episode 1: Learning to Take Breaks
This first installment, in our Healthy Relationship series, will look at the importance of taking breaks when needed and how to do it appropriately so that your partner still feels heard.

Healing Arts Series

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, Hawaiʻi Arts Alliance and Mental Health America of Hawaiʻi hosted a 4-part web series on the healing arts. The series explored how creativity can foster self-awareness, cultivate emotional resilience, and promote a sense of personal wellness. No prior art experience is necessary – just your imagination and creativity.
