Schizophrenia Education and Awareness Program (SEA)<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\nMental Health America of Hawai\u02bbi\u2019s Schizophrenia Education & Advocacy efforts is to implement a three-point program that provides youth (13 \u2013 22 years of age) who have not yet expressed potential risk for schizophrenia through the prodromal schizophrenia stage, absent of schizophrenia symptoms that have not yet had their first episode of psychosis.<\/span><\/p>\nYouth Tract – Evidence Informed Training Curriculum:<\/strong> The still in development curriculum, will be implemented in partnership with NAMI Hawaii. It will include a 1-hour education program around schizophrenia, including identifying its early signs, symptoms of psychosis, strategies to intervene, awareness of available resources, and how to seek help.
